All assets in MAC are assigned to a minimum of one classification. That's why it is very easy to find them using classifications.
The easiest example is:
- All images in MAC are assigned to the classification Images
- All documents are assigned to the classification Documents
- All video/audio content is assigned to the classification Video/Audio
- All product images are assigned to the classification Product Images
All MAC classifications have meaningful names.
Full classification tree you can observe in Library, Metro business domain.
Users can assign several categories. I.e. Asset type (Product image) + Country (Spain), so all the product images from Spain will be filtered out.
Also, be aware that for all uploaded files the following classifications are assigned by default:
- Country
- External Content Provider
- Asset Status: Work-In-Progress or Pending
You can use these classifications for searching if you know at least the country or agency that uploaded the content.
