This functionality helps to have an overview about country's product content stored in MAC. It means that data about all assets will be exposed in the report: in Work-in-Progress and Approved statuses, published in CDN and unpublished.
Only product asset types are supported for reports.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
- Regular reports
- Gap-check reports
Regular reports
Purpose. It allows to expose in the report data about assets present in MAC. System will register in the report all assets that corresponds to the asset types you are interested in.
Generated report is a csv-file.
How to activate generation of the regular report for your country
Please contact MAC Support Team via support@metroassetcenter.freshdesk.com or via widget in MAC applications.
What can be configured:
- asset types (e.g.: all product assets, only Product Images and Product Video etc.)
- attributes that you'd like to see in the report per each found asset.
How to get the report
On a daily basis system will generate the report and upload it in country's S3 folder, e.g.: Germany / Reports / Regular. To access this S3 folder you can use the S3 credentials that were provided for uploading content in MAC.
Here you can find details how to connect to country's S3 folder with S3 Browser or Cyberduck: https://metroassetcenter.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/15000034423.
Reports that were generated more than 35 days ago will be automatically deleted.
Gap-check reports
Purpose. It provides data about assets present in MAC (found) and assets absent in MAC (not found) based on the list of article numbers that you are interested in.
If per one article number system finds several assets in MAC - data about all of them will be registered in the report.
Generated report is a csv-file.
How it works
In country's S3 folder there is a folder 'Reports / Gap-check' (see below how to connect these folders).
There are sub-folders:
- Input
- Output
- Not processed.
1. In 'Input' folder you need to upload input csv-file with the assortment (list of article numbers) for which you'd like to generate report. It should contain:
a. article number type that is used in the file
b. list of the article numbers (only numeric symbols; search will be done by 'full match').
Supported article number types are:
- GTIN,
- Subsystem Article Number,
- MGB,
- MGB Article Number together with Variant number and Sales bundle number (comma as a delimiter).
Please pay attention to the correct naming of the article number type; otherwise, system will not be able to process your csv-file and it will be moved to 'Not processed' folder.
Please find below examples of the input csv-files per each article number type.
2. In 'Output' folder system uploads generated report.
Please note that system generates reports once per day (nightly); therefore, the report will be ready next day.
