- Content inflow Peaks from Marketplaces and Data providers.
- Increasingly high impact from standard changes of the assortment - approx. 10% per month!
WHAT FOR?
Fast end to end publishing of assets regardless of input queue - from initial upload to being available for M:Shop < 2hrs.

To increase the user acceptance and the self service, and to decrease the ticket/support incidents with MAC 2.0.
Technology upgrade

- In time, 'under the hood' technology became outdated.
- In general, the former technology stack did not fit to the architectural guidelines of Metro.

- To provide end users and consumers with all perks that 'state-of-the-art' technology is designed to: mainly cloud-readiness, scalability, performance.
